The first step is inspecting and reconditioning the vehicles. We are serious about this. We recently built a new service center and outfitted it with the most up to date diagnostic and inspection equipment. We also hire ASE Certified Technicians with lots of experience. Our Service Manager, John McGinn, for instance is an ASE Certified technician with 25 years of experience.

Let’s review how we inspect and recondition our vehicles. First we have 2 separate checklists prepared for every vehicle as soon as it is purchased; one is mechanical, the other is functional and cosmetic. An ASE Certified Technician personally inspects every vehicle and completes the mechanical checklist. They drive the vehicle, put it on the lift, inspect the undercarriage, look for oil leaks, change the oil, inspect the brakes, air conditioning, charging system, all the other fluids, etc. Next we repair or replace everything that is necessary. If any substantial problems are found, we will mark the vehicle for wholesale and send it to a dealer auction.

Another technician will also complete their functional/cosmetic checklist – making sure that all the trim pieces are in place, the power windows, mirrors, cd player, radio, speakers, seats, etc. all work properly. Also that any bumper scuffs, interior blemishes, windshield cracks or stars are noted and slated for repair. This checklist is extensive. (Flash in checklist)

Once we have identified all the reconditioning required, we actually get it done. We have highly skilled vendors that do the best work restoring interior finishes, painting bumper scuffs, eliminating windshield rock chips, and performing paintless dent removal.
